The California Motorcyclist Safety Program Motorcyclist Training Course (CMSP MTC) is designed for the novice rider with no (or limited) street-riding experience. This course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction. You will learn fundamental skills required to operate the motorcycle and progress to street riding skills and strategies. The course is based on the most current research in rider safety and utilizes modern training methods. Skilled riders will also learn more than they thought they could learn from this very thorough course. Successful completion will provide a DL 389 Form (Certificate of Completion of Motorcycle Training). The DL 389 may be used to waive the motorcycle skills test at a DMV and must be submitted to the DMV within 12 months of the date of issuance to avoid its expiration.
AMO is the exclusive training provider conducting the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy at Glendale Harley-Davidson, Home of the Love Ride.
